Viaje Mofongo cigars are the latest installment in the company's White Label Project, which is typically used to introduce new high-quality cigars to the public. Due to the high degree of customer approval, it has quickly become one of the top sellers. Each cigar is handmade with a reddish brown Ecuadorian corojo wrapper and a Dominican binder, along with Dominican and Nicaraguan long fillers. The name Mofongo comes from a popular dish in the Caribbean that is prepared with mashed plantains, garlic, olive oil, chicharron, and other ingredients, usually served with a beef broth. This cigar is full-bodied and offers a variety of flavors like earth, spice, leather, roasted nuts, and cocoa, and pairs well with its namesake dish as well as craft beers, rum, whiskey, and espresso.
