The Toro Especial cigars from Drew Estate are truly extraordinary, as they were originally intended for the Torcedores, or skilled cigar rollers, at their factory in Nicaragua. After tasting them, Drew Estate decided that the public should also get to experience these dark maduro cigars. They are 6 x50 in size, and are blended with an assortment of rare, dark tobacco varieties, including a San Andrs Negro wrapper from Mexico and a Cubanseed Connecticut Habano binder, with aged long filler tobaccos from Brazil and Nicaragua. The cigar is medium to full bodied, and offers up a complex array of flavors, including chocolate, leather, almonds, spice, black cherry, and white pepper.
