Altadis U.S.A. has partnered with master blender H. Upmann Nicaragua AJ Fernandez to create the Heritage Robusto cigars. This collaboration is not new as Fernandez and Altadis have previously worked together to create modern expressions of Cuban heritage brands, such as Romeo y Julieta Montecristo and the H. Upmann Nicaragua by AJ Fernandez, which was released in 2017. The cigars are crafted in a popular 5 x 52 size using aged Cubanseed Nicaraguan binder and filler tobacco grown on AJ's farms in Nicaragua. The cigars are covered in a Brazilian wrapper leaf that has been triple fermented for a smooth flavor. It has a medium-to-full body with notes of earth, oak, leather, and coffee, and a nice spicy kick on the end.
