The first Diamond Crown line was introduced to celebrate JC Newman Cigar Company’s 100th Anniversary in the early 90’s. Taking after it's name, the Diamong Crown Maximus is a full bodied beauty and was created by expert cigar maker Carlos Fuent Jr. in the year 2000. Finally, in 2003 these solid constructed, flavorful smokes were introduced and created using a splendid blend of dark, well aged Dominican filler tobaccos and sun-grown wrappers from Ecuador. The wrapper leaves are handpicked from the remote portion of the plant at the Oliva Tobacco's El Bajo plantation providing a dark, rich and natural tobacco that adds an extra burst of flavor.
