Tim Ozgener, previously the head of the iconic CAO brand until its absorption into General Cigar Company in 2010, has returned to the cigar industry with Bosphorus cigars. These cigars are distributed by Crowned Heads and hand-rolled in the Tabacalera Pichardo factory in Nicaragua. The Bosphorus B50 is a 4 x 50 Rothschild that is box-pressed and made of an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, dual binders of Ecuadorian and Nicaraguan tobacco, and a blend of Nicaraguan long filler tobacco from Estel Jalapa and Ometepe. It has a medium to full body, a slow burn, and flavors of earth, wood, subtle floral tones, pepper, and sweetness.
