In 1972, he launched the La Gloria Cubana brand, and after many years, these outstanding cigars, previously known only to the locals, were discovered by Cigar Aficionado. The brand received a well-deserved 92 rating, and from that point on, E.P. Carrillo became a sought-after name among cigar enthusiasts. The EP Carrillo Pledge cigars are handcrafted in the company's factory in Santiago, Dominican Republic, and are available in two popular sizes: the 5x52 Prequel and the 6x52 Sojourn. These cigars are skillfully made with a unique Habano Connecticut wrapper, specifically grown for this award-winning blend. Beneath the dark, oily leaf lies a blend of the finest aged Nicaraguan long fillers held together by an Ecuadorian binder.
