I placed my order in the middle of the Covid pandemic. I knew (obviously) that was going to massively slow down delivery. 1st Class Humidors was great and kept in contact with me throughout the process. It was finally delivered and I'm so happy with it. Built well and all electronics function as they should. I have a few friends who have these units and it seems like there have been some upgrades made by the manufacturer over the last few years. The humidification system has been raised up to one of the sliding shelves. It takes up some shelf space but it is worth it because you get quick and easy access to refill with distilled water. I was really looking forward to having this humidor. First off when I submitted my order the site said "in stock-Free Shipping" to me that means its in stock and ready to ship. This was not the case it was on a ship somewhere in the ocean. I received a call the day after I submitted my order and was told this. It really wasn't a big deal to me they said I'd get it in about two weeks. AWESOME I AM PUMPED. I received and email that it had arrived and shipped same day, LITERALLY WITHIN ONE DAY OF SHIPPING I RECIEVED IT. I was so happy. The unit was well packed and looked great.
After unpacking the unit and moving it into place I let it sit overnight unplugged for a minimum of 8 hours like the directions say. Then I plugged the unit in and set my standards which didn't need any change because it came default to the correct settings. This thing looks amazing, its beautiful. After letting it run for around 12 hours it started acting up. It would try to remove humidity but in doing that it was excessively cooling so the temp would drop like 10+ degrees so now its trying to heat back up because its so cold inside. In doing that the heat would cause the humidity to rise to literally 82%. I called customer service for help because the unit ran for hours upon hours straight without shutting off. I had no clue what to do. The customer service rep seemed very concerned and tried to help by sending me a lot of information about how the temp and humidity sensors may need calibrating. I did not believe this to be the case do to the sensors reading almost exactly what my personal calibrated sensors was reading, I was actually impressed on the calibration of the units sensors. I was able to get the temp and humidity worked out by setting the humidity way high and focused on the temp then focused on the humidity and that helped a lot. However this thing does run a lot. And I mean it kicks on every ten minutes maybe, the unit temp is set to 65 and I keep my house at 68, so there isn't a lot of change with that. The unit kicking on all the time is really starting to get annoying because it is in my office that I work at everyday. Another reason why its annoying, this thing is loud if I'm on the phone the person I'm talking to can hear it running. Its a very loud humming, buzzing, vibrating sound. Its a few inches from the wall and perfectly level. I checked the humidification unit inside to see if that was vibrating, I checked the shelves, cant find where it is coming from. My only thought is it is coming from inside and you would have to take the back apart to get into the inside. I am for one not very good at working on stuff like that so I would have no clue. I have watched reviews on youtube about this unit and the ones I saw don't seem to act like mine so maybe mine has some flaws. I am not really sure what to do from here. I do have about 1100 cigars in there, my thinking was maybe taking up air space inside would help keep it on track. This has not seemed to help. I am not sure what to do. I do absolutely love this thing and hope something can get figured out. (Posted on 3/25/20)

I have NO question but I DO HAVE a huge compliments to give to you! I have purchased SEVERAL imperfect & "out of box" humidors from 1st Class Humidors and I have an ABSOLUTE PLETHORA OF COMPLIMENTS to give for the honest, forthright, highly detailed and candid description of the imperfect humidors and I am in awe of how meticulously you describe the "fixes" required and I am SUPER IMPRESSED with the pictures displayed of each unit.

I sincerely wish EVERY service provider, retailer, restaurateur, business and salesperson I EVER dealt with would show 1% of the INTEGRITY, HONESTY and RESPECT I and every other consumer who has wandered to this Humidor Nirvana are GIVEN (what a delightful "gift") by merely associating with 1st Class Humidors! I "know" I talk all "mushy and corny" BUT I am honest and sincere when I say 1st Class Humidors has flawless integrity. You have earned a customer for life and as my awesome husbands cigar collection grows, I know ist class Humidors will be there, every step of the way! Who knows? Maybe when he retires we open a Cigar Shop? It COULD happen!
