Product Description
Arturo Fuente Cigars has faced numerous challenges throughout its history. The Arturo Fuente Anejo cigar is a testament to the dedication and determination of the Fuente Family. When Hurricane George destroyed the Chateau de la Fuente in 1998, the production of the Opus X wrapper was affected due to the loss of the field where it was cultivated. To overcome this shortage, Carlos Fuente Jr. decided to use aged Connecticut broadleaf wrappers with Dominican binder and filler to create the Anejo cigar. The unique maduro wrapper is aged in cognac barrels for five years, resulting in exceptional flavor. One notable shape of the Anejo cigar is the No. 77, also known as Shark, which is the first torpedo to transition from a rounded Parejo to a square press.
