Product Description
Arturo Fuente Cigars has faced numerous challenges throughout its history. The creation of Arturo Fuente Anejo reflects the Fuente Family's commitment and determination. Following the destruction of the Chateau de la Fuente by Hurricane George in 1998, the production of the famous Opus X wrapper was affected due to a shortage. To address this issue, Carlos Fuente Jr. decided to use aged Connecticut broadleaf wrappers with Dominican binder and filler, resulting in the birth of the Anejo cigar. The distinctive maduro wrapper undergoes a five-year aging process in cognac barrels. Among the various shapes available, the No. 77, also known as Shark, stands out as a unique torpedo cigar that transitions from a rounded Parejo to a square press.
