Product Description
RoMa Craft Tobac's latest core line pays tribute to the diligent workers of the Nica Sueno factory. This regular production line caught the attention of the cigar industry, as the brand is known for its limited edition releases. However, this line shares the same signature as its predecessors. It was inspired by the dedicated individuals who helped RoMa Craft Tobac and the Nica Sueo factory achieve their present-day success, with a nod to the TV series "Chef's Table." The line is called "Maestranza," a term that RoMa Craft's co-founder, Skip Martin, heard from chef Francis Mallmann in the show. The blend, RoMa Craft La Maestranza, features tobacco from three regions - Honduras, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic. It is bound by a flexible Brazilian tobacco leaf and wrapped in a Mexican San Andres wrapper designated as "Spanish Market Selection." This is a term that was previously used to describe wrapper colors, with RoMa Craft opting for a darker rosado wrapper as their Spanish Market Selection. The result is a worthy addition to RoMa Craft's renowned lineup, with rich notes of cedar, earth, dark chocolate, and spice throughout the medium-bodied smoke. The profile is intricate and transitions smoothly on both the palate and retrohale. The line is only available in the US, in 40-count boxes and 20-count bundles, with three different Vitolas: Ciutadella Catalonia (4x50), Castillito Murcia (5x60), and Caballera Valencia (6x52).
