Product Description
Arturo Fuente Cigars has faced numerous challenges throughout its history. The Arturo Fuente Anejo is a testament to the Fuente Family's dedication and resilience. When Hurricane George destroyed the Chateau de la Fuente in 1998, the production of the Opus X wrapper was affected due to a shortage. To overcome this, Carlos Fuente Jr. used aged Connecticut broadleaf wrappers in combination with Dominican binder and filler to create the Anejo cigar. The unique maduro wrapper undergoes a five-year aging process in cognac barrels, resulting in exceptional flavor. Among the various shapes available, the No. 77, also known as Shark, stands out as the first torpedo to transition from a rounded Parejo to a square press.
