The Undercrown Shade Toro Especial cigars from Drew Estate were produced to be an alternative to the popular Liga Privada 9 blend, which is milder and creamier. The creator of this vintage cigar, Willy Herrera, combined an Ecuadoran Connecticut wrapper, a Sumatran binder and Dominican Criollo 98, Nicaraguan Corojo, and Criollo long fillers to make the blend. The cigar has a medium body strength and provides flavor notes of nuts, cream, toast, and hints of spice and honey.
