Being known as a brand aiming for innovative and new ways of spicing things up in the high standard cigar industry, CAO now takes a huge step backwards as they recently release the CAO Pilon. Going back to the traditional processes, the company is now using a 19th century traditional Cuban method of fermenting tobacco called as circular pilon. In the traditional pilon process, the tobacco will be sorted in huge square stack. On the other hand, circular pilon is where the tobaccos are carefully arranged in a circular form that will ferment the leaves in a slower rate and in turn increasing its flavor and maturation.
